Join the Volunteer Team

It takes many dedicated people to make sure our swimmers are safe and have a memorable time!

At the core of the Burson Rock2Ramp Ocean Swim's success lies the invaluable support of our dedicated volunteers. Without them, this event wouldn't happen and be the Anglesea SLSC largest annual fundraising event, which provides essential funding to ensure that the club can continue to keep our beaches safe for the community and visitors.

Join the Rock2Ramp team and help create the best swimmer experience possible. We have a huge variety of positions available whether you have you have your Surf Bronze or not. You don't even need to be a member of the surf club! All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and for Saturday only - breakfast or lunch. For ASLSC patrolling members you will also receive patrol hours for volunteering.

There is a volunteer position for everyone!

For the majority of positions, no prior experience or qualifications are required! The only thing you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to help. We will provide you with on day instructions and details about your role prior so you are ready to assist us on the day.

Positions available include:

Work Party Helpers. Tasks include: Packing/unpacking trailers & trucks, setting up tents, installing signage, sorting t-shirts.
Ski Paddlers. Only for SLSC members. Role includes leading swimmers around the course.
Event Runner. 18yrs+ Only. Tasks include: Lifting and moving equipment, packing up, on-standby support as required.
Board/Tube Water Safety. Only for ASLSC members who have a current Surf Bronze. Need to wear a full-length wetsuit.
Finish Line Helpers. Tasks include: Handing our drinks and helping swimmers as they finish.
