When parking, allow plenty of time to find a park and please respect local residents and not park over their driveways. Also please be aware of any parking signs and do not park on a yellow line or you may be fined. Check-in and registration: Allow at least 30 minutes prior to your wave start time. For those that have pre-registered (strongly preferred) please join the "Pre-entires" queue to collect your timing band, swim cap(s) and t-shirt (as relevant). If you are entering on the day (either in person or preferably online), you will head to the "On-Day" entries queue, complete your registration, collect your timing band, swim cap(s) and t-shirt (whilst stocks last). Remember you cannot collect for other people, you much collect for yourself (incl. children with a parent/guardian). Registration opens at 8am on the day.T-shirts: For those entered in the 600m, 1.2km and 2.5km swims, a t-shirt is complementary (whilst stocks last, with early bird entrants given priority, then on a first in basis). Early Bird T-shirts: For those who registered as an "early bird" prior to noon 14 December, your t-shirts have been separated to ensure that you don't miss out. When you collect your timing band and swim cap, please let the registration volunteers know that you were an "early bird entrant". Every effort has been made to allocate you the correct size requested. You are unable to swap sizes. Note you must collect your shirt on the day. Merchandise & Kids Dash T-shirts: If you purchased merchandise or a Kid's Dash T-shirt as part of your pre-entry, please collect these when you check in at the registration tent.Bag Drop: The bag-drop is located on the boat ramp should you wish to leave your belongings. Warm-up areas are available either on the inside or outside of the course. However please ensure that you stay clear of the boat ramp and power craft access area.Starting points for each swim distance can be found on the follow map, with the 600m and 1.2km starting next to the "rock" or Soapy's Rock a 10-15 minute walk along the beach to the north of the boat ramp. The Dash for Cash and the 2.5km starts and finishes at the finish line and the Kids Dash will start on the southern side of the finish area. Safety: As qualified lifesavers, we take safety very seriously. We have qualified and experienced lifesavers in the water on boards, inflatable rescue boats and jet skis and on the shore supervising the entire event ready to assist. These are complimented by our medical team located at the start, finish and on the boat ramp. If you need assistance no matter how minor we are here to assist. Post-swim refreshments and celebrations await all finishers. When you cross the finish line, we will collect your timing band, we can help to unzip your wetsuit (if you want) and then there will be complementary water and bananas to refresh. Once you have caught your breath, be sure to visit our BBQ near the Yacht Club and/or the coffee stall. You can then watch on and cheer as your fellow swimmers continue to come over the finish line. Results will be live as soon as you finish, thanks to our friends at Multisport Australia. Click here to check your time after your swim.
